NematodesNemaPro® by Sylvan is an effective biological application containing live Steinernema feltiae nematodes to control sciarid fly larvae. Fungus gnats, which prefer unsprayed compost, can infest it anytime after pasteurization. NemaPro® targets pests by having nematodes penetrate larvae, releasing symbiotic bacteria that kill them within hours. Timely applications are recommended when larvae are present. For Phase II and III composts, apply 2 million nematodes per m² in 1 liter of water per m², either in a single or split dose.
